Designed while working for Dobson.

The idea

Turn a bucket of balls into a reason to compete.

Inrange Smash Golf Play brings prize events to the driving range. Players discover a tournament, join the action, follow the standings, and redeem Smash Cash for rewards.

I designed the website and product screens while working for Dobson. The experience connects the excitement of the event with the practical details around it: accounts, player check-in, leaderboards, and the Smash Store.

The player dashboard

The next game
starts here.

Event photography brings the energy of the range onto the screen. Live events, player education, and competition highlights give the dashboard a clear purpose before a player takes their first swing.

A tournament worth showing up for.

The tournament browser puts dates, prize pools, and live status next to the action. Featured challenges lead into a searchable list, so players can move from discovery to a specific event.

Sign in & sign up

You’re part
of the game.

Even the account screens feel like arriving at the range. Large photographs sit beside focused forms, with email and Google sign-in paths and an obvious route between returning and new players.

Inrange+ multiplayer flow

Your team.
Your bay.
Let’s play.

A shared range screen and personal phones have different jobs. The range interface assembles the players; the mobile states make it clear who has joined and when the game is ready to start.

Keep the whole group in sync.

Named player slots, scan instructions, and authenticated-player counts explain the next step on the big screen. On mobile, the waiting state becomes a clear “all players ready” confirmation.

Events & leaderboards

Give the competition
a place to live.

Players need to find their event and understand its status quickly. Event names, dates, participants, and Smash Cash sit in a consistent hierarchy, with visual differences between upcoming, active, and completed competitions.

Follow the action.

The compact board introduces the competition. The expanded event view adds search, location, sorting, and pagination for a longer schedule.

The Smash Store

Make the win
feel real.

The reward is part of the experience. Oversized product imagery, bold Smash Cash graphics, and recognizable golf brands connect the competition to something players can take home.
